For the third edition of its Autographe series, Pur Vodka is celebrating a return to its roots. In collaboration with two innovative local companies, Nutrableu and O'Citrus, Pur Vodka Autographe Edition 03 highlights the wild blueberry from Lac-Saint-Jean and the yuzu from Quebec. A unique vodka, of exceptional quality, a true Quebec gem.
LAC-SAINT-JEAN WILD BLUEBERRY
For two years now, Pur Vodka Autographe has been committed to telling the stories of entrepreneurs who have gone back to their roots in order to innovate and democratize flavors previously thought to be inaccessible. This third edition is no exception.
The wild blueberry is smaller and richer in nutrients than the cultivated blueberry. Preserving its essence, while respecting its extreme fragility through a race against time, is a major challenge taken up by Nutrableu. More than 500 kg of blueberries were shipped to the distillery, less than 24 hours after harvesting. They were cold-macerated for 10 weeks in Pur Vodka to give them a fresh, fruity taste and the sublime purple color of Pur Vodka Autographe Edition 03.
YUZU FROM QUEBEC
Yuzu, a fruit similar to lemon, originating in Japan, is extremely popular with chefs and mixologists. Vyckie Vaillancourt, founder of O'Citrus - the first exotic citrus farm in Quebec - braves the challenges of growing yuzu in her greenhouses in Laval. Every step of the harvesting and maintenance of the trees is done by hand, with unparalleled patience and delicacy. For her, it's a way to stand out and showcase a little luxury that comes from here. For us, it's an opportunity to bring an exotic touch to Pur Vodka Autographe Edition 03.
The final product? A 100% natural vodka with a unique and distinctive flavour profile, made with Pur Vodka, corn and glacial spring water, wild blueberries from Lac-St-Jean and yuzu from Quebec.

La couleur, issue exclusivement de la macération avec les peaux de bleuets sauvages, est d’un pourpre aux éclats lumineux. Le nez nous plonge incessamment dans le sentiment de croquer dans un bleuet sauvage fraîchement cueilli, avec ses notes fruitées et florales, sans caractère confit, et est supporté par une touche d'exotisme unique grâce au yuzu.
On the palate, we are undeniably dealing with the typical character of Pur Vodka, that is, a lot of roundness and elegance. But this slight touch of sweetness, supported by soft tannins of wild blueberry freshness and the discreet but present notes of yuzu peel, make Pur Vodka Autographe Edition 03 a fragrant vodka with an incomparable freshness, which will leave a mark on your taste buds!
